Motion

Our brand looks great in static but it comes to life in motion. Our motion principles provide guidance on how to make these elements move.

Overview of principles

Our two principles are based on two behaviours defined in our creative concept - conversation and clarity.

Voices in motion

Scale, placement and movement can be used to bring our voices to life. Conversation shows a back and forth dialogue, and clarity provides focus.

Graphics in motion

Movement can be applied to our voices individually. Our motion principles show how we can apply different behaviours that can reflect varied moods depending on the application.

Typography in motion

We can animate type with our two behaviour principles conversation and clarity. Below we explain how these behaviours are applied and their use cases.

Type appears letter-by-letter with a position nudge that resembles a conversation

Type appears word-by-word fading into focus giving the sense of clarity

Logo in motion

Our logo resolve highlights the crossover point between two shapes. This represents partnership and collaboration, which is inspired by Treated’s core values.

Icon in motion

We can give character and personality to our icons by applying animation. Here’s some examples.
